We are the Ibrahim/Mursal family, a hardworking family of 12, including two adults and ten children. We work at Essential Home Health Care and Jennie-O Turkey in Faribault. We first heard about Habitat for Humanity through Three Rivers Community Action, and we are so grateful for this opportunity. Our current home is too small for our family, very old, and in bad condition. Our landlord refuses to fix anything, and the home has lead contamination, which has caused serious health issues for our children. There is a broken window that makes the house cold, and the landlord often yells at our kids, making it an even more stressful place to live.
We are looking forward to a fresh start in a safe, warm, and stable home. Our children dream of having a new place where they feel secure and never have to see our landlord again. To the volunteers and donors who are making this possible, we want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We are so happy to know you, and we truly appreciate all you are doing for us.
