Dayna has led Rice County Habitat for Humanity as its Executive Director since November 2007. Dayna comes to Rice County Habitat with 12 years of experience in church youth ministry. She has a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin – Stout. Dayna served in Lutheran Volunteer Corps in Washington D.C. in 1995-1996 at Luther Place N Street Village. Dayna came to Northfield in 2004 and has been active with her Lutheran church, the North Rice Thrivent Chapter, Philanthropic Education Organization (PEO), the Northfield Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) and the Northfield Affordable Housing Task Force. She currently serves as Board Member of HomeTown Credit Union and is the Treasurer of the Northfield Rotary Club. When there’s spare time, Dayna enjoys bluegrass music, potlucks and hymn-sings. Dayna lives in Northfield with her husband, two kids and Millie, the chocolate lab.
Erin joined Rice County Habitat for Humanity as a Family Services Coordinator in 2024. Prior to this, Erin spent 9 years in the new home sales industry, where they did everything from selling homes to leading sales teams to Organizational Development. Much of her previous role was focused on leadership development, transitions and onboarding, and podcasting. Additionally, Erin spent 11 years providing direct support to people with disabilities, including volunteering with the Red River Adaptive Softball League and equine-assisted therapy. They have a Master's degree with an emphasis in Islamic Studies from the University of Chicago Divinity School and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Concordia College. When she's not busy helping as many people as possible, Erin can be found spending time with their partner and cats, as well as preparing their dogs for therapy work.
Jodi has been with Rice County Habitat for Humanity since 2018. Before joining Habitat, she dedicated 20 years to teaching elementary students. Jodi holds a BA degree from Augsburg College and a master's degree in Elementary Education from St. Mary's University. She is deeply involved in her community, serving as the President of the Friends of the Farmington Library. Additionally, she is a proud Northfield Chamber Ambassador and was honored as the 2024 Ambassador of the Year. Jodi resides in Farmington with her two grown daughters, one funny grandson, and three beloved kitties. She finds joy in working with Habitat volunteers, watching them step out of their comfort zones to try something new. Jodi takes pride in being part of a nonprofit that transforms people's lives. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, crafting, playing games with her family, and volunteering in her community.
Bill joined Rice County Habitat for Humanity as an AmeriCorps member in December 2024. Bill holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Luther College and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law from the Vermont Law School. In the 1980’s Bill spent a couple years working with low-income housing issues in Baltimore, MD - his work there included counseling homeowners who were facing foreclosure, as well as acquiring properties for redevelopment. He has lived in Northfield intermittently over the past 20 years; he has been here more permanently since 2019 when he retired from teaching. Bill enjoys supporting the community, as well as outdoor activities.
