I first learned about Habitat through my employer.  There was a sign in the breakroom at my work and a co-worker told me about getting her Habitat house, so I applied.  I am looking forward to working on my house.  I love to do things with my hands and want to learn about how to build my home.

We are looking forward to our own house and not having to listen to our loud neighbor yelling through the thin walls anymore and my baby can sleep peacefully.  We can’t wait to have our own yard to play.  I love to garden, so having places to plant flowers is a dream come true.  We like to do crafts and now we will have room. 

A new home for me means a safe place to raise my kids.  I want a nice garden and my own house.
