We are gearing up for a special build in 2020 – won’t you join us?

St. John’s Lutheran Church in Northfield is providing a lead gift of $20,000 to move us forward to doing our first Faith Build in 2020.

We want YOUR congregation to be involved in our Faith Build, too!  We’re looking for faith communities to FUND and BUILD a home in Northfield in 2020.  The first step for your congregation is to become a Faith Builder Congregation (see below).

Become a Faith Builder Congregation

Faith Builder Congregations are faith communities who have said YES to the following:

  1. Designate 3 people who will be advocates for Habitat within your faith community
  2. Commit to your church volunteering with Habitat in some way throughout the year
  3. Commit to a financial contribution annually.

Invite Habitat into Your Congregation

We would love to come and talk with your church or fellowship group about the ministry of Habitat. Executive Director Dayna Norvold is available for forums, temple talks or sermons during worship. Dayna is not a pastor but has worked in Lutheran churches (ELCA) for 15 years as a youth director. Click the following links for sermons/temple talks given:
